Former Egyptian Prime Minister Issam Sharaf also wrote an article praising China's culture of "harmony", believing that China's cultural values are closely aligned with those needed to build a community with a shared future for mankind, namely promoting trust, peace and development. At the meeting, he took the Belt and Road Initiative as an example and highly praised the many development opportunities that China's modernization has provided to the world.

He said that under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, China has signed more than 200 cooperation agreements with more than 150 countries and more than 30 international organizations, forming a broader, broader and deeper pattern of opening-up. The initiative has launched more than 3,000 major cooperation projects, driven nearly $1 trillion in investment, and created hundreds of thousands of jobs. In terms of investment provided to the world, projects concluded and jobs created, China is "far ahead of other countries".

Zheng Yongnian, chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Research Institute in Guangzhou, pointed out in his speech that China's opening up is a rule-based opening up, and the ability of global capital should not be underestimated, nor should the power of China's opening up policy to reshape the global trading system be underestimated.

In his speech, he mentioned that in recent years, China has continuously expanded its unilateral visa-free "circle of friends", stepped up efforts to introduce foreign investment, and constantly relaxed the entry threshold. At present, China has completely lifted restrictions on foreign investment in the manufacturing sector. He believes that China's unilateral opening-up is opening up to the whole world, including developed and developing countries.
